Introducing GitGui: The Web-Based Git Client

Welcome to the GitGui blog! We’re thrilled to introduce you to our new web-based Git client that allows you to manage your repositories easily from one place.

At GitGui, we understand the challenges of managing multiple repositories across different Git providers. Our goal is to simplify the Git management process for you. With GitGui, you can access and manage all your Git repositories from one centralized platform, regardless of which Git server they reside on.

Our service works seamlessly with popular Git providers such as AWS CodeCommit, Google Cloud Source Repositories, Azure Repos, GitHub, GitLab, and BitBucket. And if you have your own Git server that uses SSH keys or username and password authentication, you can easily connect to it as well.

We also understand the importance of security when it comes to managing Git repositories. That’s why we use the AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) to encrypt all repository credentials with an RSA 2048 key. Your credentials are kept safe and secure, and we never store them in plaintext.

At GitGui, we’re committed to providing a robust and user-friendly Git management solution. That’s why we’re constantly improving our platform and adding new features. Some of the features we’re working on include integrations with popular CI/CD tools like AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions, PullRequest support for all Git providers, and security analysis using Grype and lint analysis using the super-linter from GitHub.

GitGui is currently in beta and completely free to use. However, as we add more advanced features and support larger repositories, we will introduce pricing plans. We hope you enjoy using GitGui and find it to be a valuable addition to your Git management toolkit.

Thank you for choosing GitGui! Stay tuned for more updates and exciting new features.
